Stück
In CYCLIC PATTERN I encounter my current personal challenges and look for ways to deal with them.
The process of individuation began for me with motherhood. I have ventured into the land of my truth. I recognize the paths that people have walked before me. Some of these don't align with my ways. I still have to go my own way so that they become new paths. This is a process of constant transformation. In order not to get lost in these challenging moments, I would like to orientate myself towards universal structures.
The earth turns, day follows night; There is plenty of time for activity as well as rest for those who follow this rhythm. In the monthly cycle the moon appears full and empty, as well as the female menstruation in my body. By observing physical symptoms, and understanding how to deal with them can develop a more healthy and sustainable lifestyle. The cyclical circles of the sun make the earth flourish in the seasons and we are gifted with these qualities.
These cycles connect people and if we follow these structures, a more balanced structure can emerge in society.

With her artistic research, Sheila Runa Lindauer (*1987) fundamentally explores the depths of human perception. Her works resemble an appearance of microscopic inner worlds, which she translates into her own moving language through the body. Through somatic perception, she processes the body's relationship to space and time into organic forms and movements. In her work she deals intensively with the question of how the interaction between body and psyche works and how it is influenced by body movement.
